about

Alex Autajon is a young french DJ/Producer who makes forward-thinking club tracks. After a few net label releases he appeared on MOVELTRAXX “Street Bangers Factory” series alongside DJ Earl, TT The Artist, Nadus, Swizzymack & more.

Inspired by artists like Cashmere Cat, Big Dope P & Feadz, his work is described by DUMMY Magazine as skippy, syncopated beats that sits somewhere between DJ Rashad and Bok Bok in terms of soundscape, with whirling synths, booty-claps, gunshots and weighty low-end.

In 2018, he remixed DJ Manny (Teklife), worked with Morgan Hislop & released his first mixed compilation Modus Operandi : Alex Autajon which features music from MikeQ, Dj Tameil, Mighty Mark & many more. He also played on Rinse FM, Reprezent, Hotel Radio Paris & got booked regularly in Lyon, Switzerland & London.

"Don't Need You / Broken" is his first solo release and features vogue house/ballroom vocalist Sugar Shane & a remix from Ethyène. Alex will be back in London in february for the Moveltraxx club residency at Ace Hotel on february 14.
